Why men’s discipleship?
Man in the Mirror’s mission is to equip Christian men around the world to engage in meaningful relationships that change lives and build the kingdom of God.
We believe discipleship changes everything—that when a man is transformed by Christ and discipled by others, there is no greater influence on the problems that surround us: divorce, fatherlessness, poverty, racism, sexual violence, addiction, suicide, and more. No matter the brand of brokenness in our world, the only lasting, systemic solution is to disciple our way out! And it begins with men.
But even in churches today, too many men are absent or uninvolved. We want to partner together to help every man reflect honestly, pursue God wholeheartedly, and live vibrantly.
Why a men’s event?
Churches use our men’s events to create interest and momentum among men and connect them to Scripture and each other.
Through 1) a clear vision of the gospel, 2) the discussion time at the event about their experiences and how to apply what they’re hearing to their lives, and 3) the relationships that continue to build in the six-week follow-up groups, we’ve seen thousands of men transformed.
As you plan, promote, and execute your event, we’ll be there every step of the way. In addition to our headquarters staff, a team of Man in the Mirror Area Directors all over the country are trained and ready to support local churches, and their consultation services are provided free of charge.
